Maria Luisa Zorzi started making jewellery in 1979.
She learnt her craft at the "Pietro Selvatico" Institute in Padua and went on to gain an apprenticeship at the best Paduan goldsmiths.

Her first pieces of work, made of gold and silver, were hand beaten. She used these pieces in the first exhibition of her work.

This allowed her to show her imagination and creativity and brought her work to the attention of the best jewellers in Padua, Venice and Rovigo, requesting her collaboration.
